Production of PTFE and Rubber Linings
Industrial PTFE and rubber linings are designed to protect primarily metal parts against chemical corrosion and abrasive wear, while also providing electrical insulation. As a manufacturer of electromagnetic flowmeters, we have specialized since 1989 in the production of pipe linings with diameters ranging from DN8 to DN350. However, rubber linings can also be applied to metal surfaces of other specific shapes. Linings can be applied to supplied components, or we can provide complete manufacturing of the required parts (see: production of induction sensor bodies).
Due to their mechanical and chemical properties, these linings are utilized in nearly all industrial sectors, including chemical, food and beverage, agriculture, water management, wastewater treatment, and many others. PTFE (teflon) linings:
- High-quality natural extruded PTFE semi-finished products from a renowned European manufacturer.
- High resistance to chemically aggressive liquids (acids, alkalis, etc.).
- Circular linings with diameters from 8 to 350 mm (DN8–DN350) and lengths up to 0.6 m (approx. 24 inches).
- Process connections: flanges (EN, DIN, JIS, ANSI, etc.), G thread (EN ISO 228-1), aseptic (food-grade) fittings (DIN 11851), wafer/sandwich style, and other custom designs.
- Maximum operating temperature for PTFE lining: 150°C (302°F).
- Approved for use with drinking water according to WRAS (BS 6920-1:2000). Certified safe for contact with drinking and hot utility water in accordance with Act No. 258/2000 Coll. and Decree No. 409/2005 Coll. The Teflon material used complies with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Rubber linings:
- Hard rubber (ebonite) or soft rubber linings from a Czech manufacturer. Applied via vulcanization.
- Ideal for applications with lower chemical resistance requirements, such as agricultural waste, wastewater and treatment plants, cooling systems (min. temperature 32°F / 0°C), etc.
- Circular linings with diameters from 8 to 350 mm (DN8–DN350) and lengths up to 1 m. Other shapes up to dimensions of 0.6 x 0.6 x 1 m.
- Process connections: flanges (EN, DIN, JIS, ANSI, etc.), G thread (EN ISO 228-1), wafer/sandwich style, and other custom designs.
- Maximum operating temperature for rubber lining: 194°F (90°C).
